More about Me:

If you're an Economics students who's looking for some help with your courses, you've come to the right place. I can help you solve specific problems or teach you entire concepts from start to finish. Need help getting assignments done? A session or two with me may be all you need to get your latest assignment finished. It's also much more fun than doing it all on your own, as many students appreciate my dry sense of humor and ability to tie in real life lessons with Economics!

My name is Alex Wu, a recent graduate of the Masters in Economics program at University of Western Ontario. I have spent the last five years studying Economics at Western (one of the top 4 Economics departments in Canada), having previously graduated with a BA in Economics from Western in Spring 2007. If you want to know more about me personally, visit my "About" page.

Rest assured that I'm a native English speaker who has tutored over 200 Economics students since September 2007.

Getting good marks isn't easy, that's why not everyone has them. You need to work, period. Even with tutoring, you need to sit down, study and do the practice problems. I can teach you the concepts until my jaw falls off but if you're not at your desk practicing after tutoring, you're not going to do well on your exams. Tutoring is not a quick fix way of raising your grades. I'm here to help you overcome the hurdles in your studying, and make it less boring. Think of me as your coach. You still have to do the work because when it comes to the exams, I can't write them for you. But, if you work hard with me as your tutor and train yourself up, you'll do well... well enough to continue into business or wherever your studies may lead you :-)

For UWO students: Are you in need of Math Tutoring? A good friend of mine, Jeff Plank, tutors students in Math and Calculus courses at the Weldon Library on the UWO campus. Please visit Jeff Plank's website for more information. He was once my Math TA and does an excellent job of explaining difficult concepts in layman's terms.
